October 2000
The veg patch has done wonderfully
and Sue's
sunflowers have done pretty well - not as tall as they are in England though!
the veg patch thrived on the goat muck
The Orchard managed to produce a
few apples, but the birds managed to get to the plums first.
| The terrace we cleared turned out to have
wonderful soil
and has produced some pretty
respectable tomatoes and aubergines |
| Its a battlefield in the garden with some
pretty impressive wildlife getting ready to get their teeth in - to the parsely
but at least they don't appear to like flesh |
| The wall was rebuilt
and I got to play with the boys' toys to
build an approach road
| The insects aren't the only locusts - we have
four-legged ones as well
Nothing is sacred, and we now have a
one-sided hedge
| D has beautified the terrace a bit further
